Two new fire-truck arrived in Kiritimati Islands

Strengthening Safety: Fire Trucks Arrive on Kiritimati Island! The successful arrival of two fire trucks on Kiritimati Island marks a major milestone in advancing community safety and resilience. This achievement was made possible through the valued partnership of the SA Country Fire Service, Pacific Islands Emergency Management Alliance, Ministry of Line and Phoenix Islands Development, Office of Te Beretitenti National Disaster Risk Management Office, and the Kiribati Police Service.
This initiative represents a significant step forward in enhancing emergency response capabilities for the island, ensuring greater protection for the people of Kiribati.
